Géraldine Solignac, Instructor Trainer, collaborates with a team of highly qualified and experienced TDI Instructor Trainers. With over 15 years of experience in cave and technical diving and a decade of full-time instructing, Géraldine brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
As a mentor, Géraldine is committed to continuously improving her dive skills and knowledge for herself and her students. She enthusiastically takes advanced diving courses, which helps her remain an approachable and impactful educator with up-to-date teaching techniques. She adapts to the instructor candidates’ needs and draws on her extensive cave and technical diving experience and her challenging explorations all over Mexico.

About the SDI Dive Master Program
Our SDI Dive Master course offers comprehensive training that will prepare you to become an expert dive guide and mentor. Through a combination of classroom sessions, self-study, and practical experience, you’ll develop the organizational and problem-solving skills necessary to lead and assist divers effectively. Under the guidance of our experienced SDI instructors, you will refine your diving techniques and gain valuable experience in dive management and supervision.
SDI Divemaster Program Duration and Prerequisites
Training Duration and Schedule
Duration: Minimum of 4 weeks, with flexible scheduling options to accommodate your needs.
Training Sessions: Combination of theoretical classes, confined water practice, and open water dives conducted daily.
Prerequisites for SDI Dive Master:
- Age: 18 years or older
- Certification Level:
- SDI Advanced Adventure Diver or equivalent from a recognized agency
- SDI Rescue Diver or equivalent certification
- First Aid and CPR: Valid certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen Provider within the last 24 months
- Diving Experience: At least 40 logged dives upon entry and a total of 60 dives by course completion, including one night dive and one navigation dive
- Medical Clearance: A current medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months, confirming fitness for scuba diving

Certification Requirements
To achieve your SDI Divemaster certification, you must complete all course requirements and log a minimum of 60 dives.
